We are looking for an “IT Project Manager” to join our IT team. Are you interested?

Just a short while ago we were a small start-up, and now we have 60 employees!!! With fast growth come plenty of new challenges, including coordinating the needs of stakeholders in multiple departments.

Currently, our IT team provides support to 8 internal departments in multiple software and application development tasks. The team is 100% in-house, made up of 6 full-stack developers and 1 Sys Admin. As you have already figured out, we need help to get everyone on board and on track.

In this role, as an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of all technology projects in our company. You will be in charge of the entire project cycle, from gathering requirements and creating action plans to tracking progress, and ensuring projects are delivered on time. You will also be responsible for assessing and identifying the different technology needs along with the key stakeholders\team leaders.

You will be reporting directly to our Head of IT, Ricardo Velhote.

As you may have already noticed, Care to Beauty is an online store that sells cosmetic, health, wellness, and beauty products. We stock products from the best European brands and ship them worldwide. In this position, you can stay completely remote anywhere in the world. Even so, if you want to come to the office, you can too, we are always open.

As an IT Project Manager in our company, you will be responsible for:

- Manage IT projects across all business areas: coordinate internal resources to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deliverables, deadlines, and schedules

- Collect and prioritize business requirements

- Determine and define project scope and objectives

- Project status reports for all stakeholders by gathering, analysing, and summarizing relevant project information

- Manage the relationship with internal stakeholders

- Coordinate and Lead project meetings

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

- Engage, lead, and motivate the project team

Required skills and experience:

Mandatory:

- Previous experience as an IT Project Manager

- People oriented, with good managing skills

- Advanced knowledge of Project Management principles, concepts, procedures, practices, and tools

- A problem-solving and solution-driven mentality

- Excellent communication skills

- Customer/service-oriented

- High level of autonomy and organizational skills (manage topics from end to end)

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills

- Able to comfortably work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

- Project management qualifications or courses is a plus

- Experience in the e-commerce business

- Knowledge of agile and other relevant methodologies

- Knowledge, interest or previous experience in applying the Shape Up methodology
