MLS is a Vancouver based, cutting-edge Web3 startup that leverages blockchain technology to create a unique and innovative gaming NFT marketplace. Our mission is to provide gamers and collectors with a platform to buy, sell, and trade their favorite in-game items and assets as NFTs. We are looking for a talented software engineer to join our team and help us bring our vision to life.

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our early team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and gaming, as well as a strong technical background in software development. In this role, you will work closely with the rest of our development team to design, develop, and maintain our platform. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments and help shape the future of our product.

Overview:

This position is contractual for 3 months with a potential for extension or a permanent position with early options in the company depending on performance and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and performant software solutions for our platform
• Collaborate with the rest of the development team to ensure consistency and quality across all components of the platform
• Work closely with product management and design teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet the needs of our users
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the platform's capabilities
• Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to help improve the codebase

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong experience with modern web development technologies, such as React, Node.js, and GraphQL
• Experience with blockchain development, particularly with Ethereum
• Familiarity with NFT standards, such as ERC-721 and ERC-1155
• Strong understanding of software development principles and practices
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Passion for technology and gaming

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: $5,000.00-$8,000.00 per month
