The Role: Senior Software Developer

The Team: The team is responsible for Data Workbench and Data Catalog applications which provide on-demand Data Analytics platform within the company. The Team also working on
Manual Linking Tool, Internal Marketplace and few other applications. The team dynamic is startup-like – it’s a relatively small team where each person has to wear many hats and know the whole application well.

The Impact: This role is important, because each member of Internal Market place-Data
Workbench team has a direct impact on the development and high visibility within CSD and MI.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in design discussions
  • Development, Unit testing, Build, Deploy, Peer review and automation
  • Use latest technologies to implement new functionality
  • Follow Agile process
  • Responsible for effective communication through progress reports, user documentation and formal presentations to teams and management
  • Participate in or lead cross-functional business and system process improvement teams
  • Function as a team member or leader on specified projects
  • Coordinating with the groups of business users who test, validate and evaluate new functionality
  • Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, clearly communicate findings of analysis, and propose solutions that address user requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5-9Years of experience in developing and enhancement of software development with below skill sets.
  • Very Strong in ReactJS/AngularJS and Node.js and FullStack development
  • Java or Python
  • Relational Databases, SQLServer or Postgres
  • Very Strong in Cloud Technologies (AWS) and Cloud-based & Cloud-native applications
  • Strong in Problem solving skills using Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related degree program, or equivalent experience; Advanced degree preferred
  • Effective Communication Skills

Salary: £34,922.41-£76,026.43 per year
