RCGT Consulting focuses on supporting public sector clients across Canada in advisory and placement services as well as digital solutions. Over recent years, we have been focusing on growing and expanding the value-added services we offer to our Public Sector clients. Through discoveries made during advisory engagements, RCGT Consulting recognized a trending gap in the marketplace to deliver innovative digital solutions. RCGT’s Digital practice seeks to close this gap with the Public Sector through the delivery of modern technology, and services for our clients.

What we're looking for

At RCGT Consulting, we are building an application development team who will be responsible for delivering high-quality custom applications and websites to clients including the Government of Canada. We are seeking a Full Stack Application Developer to help RCGT Consulting build and deliver customized applications and websites and use CI/CD pipelines provided by our infrastructure team to successfully deliver these.

A day in the life

• Support the team by defining toolchains and frameworks that will allow the team to deliver on projects
• Contribute and work with the Cloud Operations team to get applications and websites deployed
• Participating in DevOps workflow to support the systems you build
• Assisting in defining the front-end stack to be used, based on a roadmap of projects and desire for flexibility to meet future project deliverables
• Working on web front-ends
• Working on Rails-based back-ends
• Working on customizing third-party applications using a variety of languages
• Using CI/CD pipelines

What you'll bring to the table

• Secret clearance or eligibility for one
• 2-4 years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Previous experience with Ruby on Rails, React.js, Bootstrap, CSS< and static site generators

Nice to have

• Previous experience with Kubernetes
• Bilingualism in both French and English

Schedule

• Full-time, Permanent
• Hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
• Day shift
