Fullstack Job: Software Developer Intern (May - 12 month)

Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Ottawa or Markham, Ontario and is an 12 month work term commencing in May 2023. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.

Work with the development team in Global Sales Enablement to build and support internal applications used by our sales people. This is an exciting opportunity which allows developers to work on a broad range of technical projects including game development, skill trees, and learning tools. You’ll be able to experience the entire development process, starting with requirements gathering, brain storming, designing, implementation, and testing. There will also be opportunities to present new applications to the broader team. This is a great opportunity for students with some knowledge or interest in full stack development but looking to gain greater experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Fluent in at least one development language
• Understanding of client server communication (APIs)
• Knowledge of the full stack framework
• Understanding of how to at least one database (i.e. MySQL)
• Fluent in HTML/CSS
• Must be eligible to work 12 months starting in May
  

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in any one of the following: angular, react, svelte, vue, nodejs/javascript, devops/cloud deployments
• Registered in a formal co-op/internship program
