Braintrust is working to change the way freelance works – for good.

We've onboarded some of the world's most reputable brands and now we need a Full Stack Developer for one of our clients.

THE OPPORTUNITY

MUST HAVE:

  • Full Stack Development Experience

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Shopify API

  • GPT-X (GPT-3, GPT-J, etc)

  • UX

About You

The ideal candidate is someone with the flexibility to adjust, the capacity to learn and capture data early on, and the mindset of growth. I guess the exact opposite profile (someone that is not familiar with lean product development, that is unwilling to learn new things and challenge the initial assumptions) will not be a good fit.

What you’ll be working on

Looking for someone to build and MVP for a web app. Required skills UX/UI, full stack dev, GPT-J, and Shopify dev.

Our client is building a web app and they are in search of a reliable partner to develop, deliver and support for 3 months after launching in the following territories:

  • Design
    • UX - An end-to-end user journey for the MVP. The ideal partner should have the capacity to design from scratch the entire user journey for the MVP. Currently, they have documented 17 user stories and they do not expect to overpass the 25 user stories in total. They expect to have three variations for three main pages and after the final format/design framework is decided to have up to two extra rounds of iterations in the rest of the pages.
    • UI - Design elements. They expect that you will be in a position to design the relevant design elements for all pages following the same approach as above (three variations for the design guidelines and up to two variations for the individual design elements). Part of the deliverable will be the design of a specific canvas (like business model canvas, value proposition canvas, personas canvas, etc) that will be used in the web app
  • Development
    • Full stack development. To speed up the development process they have partnered with TomorrowX (you can read more at https://tomorrowx.dev/) and you will be in a position to use more than 500 composable components. Please add in your response that you have read this point and it is clear to you that you will need to use the TomorrowX platform for the development of the solution.

    • Intelligence. The key value they want to gain from the MVP is the ability to improve their intelligence. For that reason, they need to train a GPT-J model for the specific use case that is relevant to us (will be shared during the due diligence process)

1 - Have the ability to capture feedback from the user

2 - Utilize the captured feedback in order to further train and improve their model.

If you happen to have any experience with GPT-3 or any other model it is highly appreciated and please do share more in your response

    • Shopify dev. The Minimum Viable Product is going to be a Shopify app and for that reason, they would like to work with a partner that has prior experience working with the Shopify API. Please include in your response if you have any experience building an app that is published in the Shopify AppStore and share the relevant links.

  • Support

    • Launch. The ideal partner must ensure prior to accepting this project that he will have full responsibility to make sure that the app will be accepted and launched in the Shopify App Store.

      • After launch. The partner must be in a position to support their project for at least the first 3 months after the day that the app is officially launched in the Shopify App Store mainly in bug fixing. No new feature will be developed only those that will be in place must be supported and fully developed (in case there is a need to redevelop the same functionality after launch)

ABOUT THE HIRING PROCESS:

Qualified candidates will be invited to do a screening interview with the Braintrust staff. We will answer your questions about the project, and our platform. If we determine it is the right fit for both parties, we'll invite you to join the platform and create a profile to apply directly for this project.

C2C Candidates: This role is not available to C2C candidates working with an agency. But if you are a professional contractor who has created an LLC/corp around your consulting practice, this is well aligned with Braintrust and we’d welcome your application.
