THE QUICK SCOOP

We need someone who is a quick learner, likes to solve problems, wants a long-term arrangement, and likes working as part of a talented, rockstar team. We work in a very fast-paced environment - there are emergencies sometimes, and deadlines get re-arranged and re-prioritized often.

If it's a great fit, this position could lead to full-time work.

Projects include:

• Building web apps, custom quizzes, custom forms, dashboards, and more
• Building super-fast sites with custom themes
• Building landing pages
• Adding features / pages to existing sites
• Making sites ADA-compliant
• Fixing errors & troubleshooting

We've been told by our developers that they love how organized we are, and how well we communicate the specs, so that they can code and not waste time asking a bunch of questions.

OUR HIRING PROCESS

We start with a trial phase to see how we like working together, and how you fit into our team and culture. This means you'll start on small tasks, and if all goes smoothly, you'll have plenty of work quickly - as much as you want!

We spend quite a bit of time on onboarding, so that you'll be ready to dive right in.

• WordPress development (custom themes, premium themes, child themes, ACF Pro, custom plugins, maintaining existing sites built using 3rd-party themes and page builders)
• Pixel-perfect conversion from Figma
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, SASS, AJAX, XML, JSON
• PHP, MySQL
• GitHub
• Ecommerce
• API integrations for 3rd-party services
• Hosting migrations
• Server administration
• Site speed optimization
• Security (securing WordPress sites to withstand 3rd-party penetration tests)
