Fullstack Job Details

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

SpaceX is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer with a passion for building intuitive high performance web applications. You will work closely with customers, hardware engineers, and software engineers to bring observability to a rapidly expanding network of millions of assets. The tools you build will empower Starlink customers to manage their deployed assets in aviation, maritime, and enterprise environments.

Aerospace experience is not required to be successful here - rather we look for smart, motivated, respectful, collaborative engineers who love solving problems and want to make an impact on a super inspiring mission. You will have full ownership of challenging problems, working with a team of enthusiastic engineers with diverse perspectives to design and produce solutions that enable SpaceX to move towards our goals at a rapid pace. The success of the missions at SpaceX depends on the software that you and your team produce.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of professional, full stack software engineering experience; OR 3+ years of professional experience building full-stack software in lieu of a degree

  • Deep technical expertise in front-end web technologies including TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver server-side solutions in C#, Python, or other object-oriented languages
  • Front-end experience in Angular, React, or similar JavaScript framework
