Being responsible for authentication, authorization, accounting and directing calls to the correct back end for the TomTom Maps API products
Provide a variety of support services, like request throttling, request tracking, rate limiting, real time request security scanning and other business enhancing functions.
Building the next generation API management platform, based on industry standard components and open source specifications.
Develop complex system components not readily available on the market
Developing backend specific skills ando also have the ability to develop front end interfaces for our internal customers.
A minimum of 5 years experience developing and maintaining highly available backend systems
At least 3 years of golang development
At least 3 years experience with frontend development (react / react admin)
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
Experience with development, deployment and management of containerized applications (docker, kubernetes)
Thorough understanding of git and CI/CD (github, github actions)
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Multi-year experience with design and development of javascript based frontend development
Technical leadership, ability to lead a project end-to-end and communicate with stakeholders
Experience building scalable cloud native applications
Understanding of modern software engineering practices in areas like CI/CD, test automation, microservices, distributed systems, and data management
Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with customers, vendors and partners, across all levels of the organization (English)
