Our mission

We enable B2B sales teams to differentiate from their competition and systemise a buyer-centric digital sales process.
With Valuecase customer-facing teams create digital spaces that take their buyers by hand from first call over onboarding to customer success. Valuecase spaces include all relevant information, promote collaboration, and are highly customizable. And creating them is as easy as writing an e-mail.

We are driven by our vision to build a software platform that re-defines how millions of B2B sellers and buyers across the globe interact and close deals. We aspire to transform the market for B2B sales tech as companies such as Salesforce and HubSpot have done so over the past 20 years.

We are a group of highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and fun people backed by strong VC investors (Picus Capital); we are working partially from our beautiful office in the heart of Hamburg and partially from home.

Your role

With our pre-seed funding round closed and the product gaining traction with customers, we believe it is now the perfect time to continue building up our tech team.

In close collaboration with our tech lead and the product design team you will be building a B2B SaaS product that will define an entire new product category within the space for sales software. Our ambition and your mission will be to create a software that gives complex B2B buying processes the look & feel of simplicity.

Tasks

  • Developing a state-of-the-art front-end for our SaaS solution, building a user interface people love to engage with on a daily basis
  • Developing the underlying back-end applications powering our software solution
  • Designing and developing APIs to relevant integration partners and external service providers
  • Ensuring responsiveness & our delivery promises of our applications towards our customers
  • Collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios, and work through permutations to always find the best solution possible taking our initially limited resources into account
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in upcoming web applications, programming languages and frameworks as well as tools, which might help the tech org at Valuecase
Requirements

You consider yourself a JavaScript generalist when it comes to the web and cloud stack and enjoy tackling a diverse set of challenges, thinking end-to-end

  • You are proficient with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, and Vue)
  • You are proficient with backend Javascript frameworks such as Node.JS, ExpressJS, and Next.JS (incl. TypeScript)
  • You are familiar with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
You have a growth mindset and feel comfortable in the ambiguous, evolving and exciting environment of an early stage start-up like Valuecase

And most importantly, you identify yourself with our core values: courage, uniqueness, pro-activeness, empathy, and transparency

Benefits

  • Become a part of the Valuecase team and work in an environment of highly motivated, entrepreneurial and fun colleagues, who are experts in their respective functional areas (which includes having mastered the /giphy command in Slack)
  • Make an impact from day 1 - join a young high-growth startup operating at high pace, where you can significantly shape the path the company is moving to and form its culture
  • Work side-by-side with the founding team and all other employees in an agile and collaborative manner
  • Get rewarded - backed by strong VC investors we can offer a competitive compensation package and equity
  • And of course: brand new tech equipment of your choice, drinks, snacks, monthly subscription to meditation app of your choice (e.g., HeadSpace), subsidized gym membership, and much more.
How do we hire?

Our principles:

  • We hold discussions with you, not interviews. In the end, it is as much your decision as it is ours.
  • Let's be very transparent upfront. We are clear about what is important to us and so should you. If we are not matching due to fundamental ideas about how to collaborate, let's find it out in the beginning.
  • Let's have fun. Worst case, we will have spent 30-60 minutes meeting a new person.
The typical process lasts about 3-4 hours comprising 3 main discussions.

  • Getting to know each other - Do we click?
  • Going through our product - Are you as passionate about our product as we are?
  • Showcasing your skills - Does your skill set fit our expectations?
We are looking forward to your application!
